We'd like to apologize for insulting Sarah Palin by suggesting that she wears lipstick. We'd like to second Keith Olberman's apology to viewers subjected to the GOP's repugnant exploitation of 9-11. We'd like to apologize to Dorothy Day, Martin Luther King, Samuel Gompers, Cezar Chavez, Mahatma Gandhi, and Jesus Christ for the Republican party's mockery of their work as community organizers. We'd like to apologize to victims of pedophiles for the McCain campaign's support of child molestor rights. We'd like to apologize to rape victims in Wasilla, Alaska, who had to pay for their forensic medical exams under mayor Palin. We'd like to apologize to homeowners who lost their homes in Michigan as a result of the mortgage crisis for the GOP's effort to block them from voting. We'd like to apologize to voters in Mississippi for the GOP's effort to hide the senate race they're about to lose at the bottom of the ballot. We hope these apologies will suffice to end the Republicans demands for an apology. If not, we'd like to apologize to the world for the GOP's efforts to destroy it over the past eight, and God help us hopefully not the next four, years. And we pray the Obama campaign realizes there are only seven weeks left before the election!!
